Lenovo on Thursday announced the G455 and G555, budget laptops that pack AMD and ATi inside and start at $449.
Intended for mainstream consumers, the notebooks offer either AMD Turion or Athlon processors (up to Turion II dual-core) and ATI Radeon HD graphics. The G455 and G555 have 16:9 widescreen HD displays, support DirectX 10 and come with Windows 7.
They also have Lenovo’s proprietary OneKey Rescue System for backups and Energy Management 5.0 software for efficiency, as well as VeriFace facial recognition tech for security.
The Lenovo G455 and G555 start at $449 and will be available in the U.S. beginning in March.
